Please pray for this virus to pass us by and allow us to get back to our lives.    \nI was going into full speed promotion mode when Bishop Olson requested that all Catholic churches within the 17 North Texas counties west of DFW Airport operate beginning only at 25%.   Long story short\, the slower than anticipated ramp-up plus the needs of St Michaels for the programs they want to do\, means that our Lone Star TOR location will not be available until after June 30.    \nSorry guys\, the 2020 Lone Star Trade O Ree will not be held on May 29-30.    \nFirstly\, thank you for your support!    We will need to delay the Lone Star Trade O Ree from May 29-30 to another date because our location is not available now.    I will return the checks of everyone who has already sent one to confirm a table.    \nSecondly\, we are evaluating a casual Lone Star Trade O Ree after June 30.    I would entertain any ideas anyone would like to send.   I am looking around for a location once the dust settles and will gauge the interest when I have something people may like and feel safe to attend.    It may be in conjunction with a District Collections MB class where anyone can bring their stuff at no charge where tables are first come-first served.    I would promote it in church bulletins and at District Roundtable meetings.    OR maybe we celebrate the 33rd Lone Star TOR by …..      Will probably send out a survey with ideas to gauge interest once I have something tentatively lined up.    \nI have also been waiting for Longhorn Council Executive John Coyle to advise how our local Scouting will be “opened.”   I thought it was going to be a May 1st email to all membership in the council but I didn’t get anything so we’re waiting for some direction there.
